Just Add Ink #754

Hey Everyone

The latest challenge at Just Add Ink is ready to play along with:

Been working on some birthday cards to have up my sleeve. This floral creation was made with bits and pieces off my desk. I’ve been trying to clean my desk but i never seem to get rid of all the discard images and sentiments – might happen one day.

The daisies are from the You are Remarkable stamp set. They’ve been coloured with blends and then fussy cut out. The DSP I’ve added to this card is from the Floral Delight DSP and it was also sitting discarded from a project.

I went with all 3 elements from the challenge – diecut, flowers and ribbon. Easy peasy for this flower loving creator.

Thanks for stopping by.

Lucky I have the Classic Wedding Stamp Set as I thought it matched the inspo pic perfectly! I chose a colour scheme that also matched the colours in the pic. I couldn’t help but held a bouquet of roses made with the dies from the Classic Wedding Dies to give it more of a wedding card feel.

Freshly Made Sketches #684

Hey Everyone

There is a new challenge to play along with at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch designer is the fabulously talent Jen Mitchell. Take a look at the fab sketch she has created:

I’ve had to replenish birthday cards in my stash as I’ve had birthdays galore lately. The card I created features a few products from different sets. The daisies are from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set, the stamped and fussy cut leaves are from the Textured Notes Stamp Set and the diecut leaves are from the Thankful Garden Dies.

I added a strip of DSP from the Season of Gold Designer Series Paper pack. I love the diversity of the papers as they are not only designed for Christmas.

I then added a seam binding bow in Fresh Freesia that I had sitting on my desk.

Thanks for stopping by.

I chose Rainbows and Flowers for this challenge. I created a background in rainbow colours made with the Painted Stripes Stamp. This stamp is a background stamp and it worked perfectly for adding my rainbow of colours.

The flowers part of the challenge are from the Happy Hibiscus Stamp Set. I coloured them in colourful detail to match the colourful background. To tone down all of these coloiurs, I added Basic White Cardstock leaves made with the leafy die from the Thankful Garden Dies.

The team have created awesome projects for this challenge. Make sure you head over to Just Add Ink and see what they’ve created.

Hey Everyone

This week at Just Add Ink, our challenge is an inspiration picture challenge. Take a look at the chalenge pic:

I wanted to incorporate the foliage and colours from the pic on to my card. I added die cut palm trees from the Beach Day Dies as well as stamped images from the same set. I created circles that created sand and sea so it completed the look of a beachside scene.

Just Add Ink #734

Hey Everyone

It’s our first challenge for 2025 at Just Add Ink. Our first challenge of the year is always a blog hop. Our theme for the hop is

i was really touched with one of the Xmas presents i received from one of the doctors i work with. He took the time to go through my instagram and look at the images i use for my cards. He purchased a variety of products that he thought I didn’t have and gave them to me as a gift. The products included two stamp sets that I have used images from on my card as well as some inks. How incredibly thoughtful was he?

I’ve paired the tree and bird images with some papers from Stampin’ Up!.

The next creative team member on the hop is the very talented and super nice Lou Kitzleman.

If you get lost along the way, you can always head back to Just Add Ink and start again.

Thanks for stopping by.
