Just Add Ink Challenge #169

Hey Everyone

Delys has found a beautiful photo for this weeks inspiration challenge at Just Add Ink. Have a look at these gorgeous colours in the photo:

A few of the girls from the Design Team have gone for very creative backgrounds on their cards, so I decided to give it a go too.  I found this gorgeous card on Pinterest and loved the effect the technique gave to the background.  I took inspiration from the three silhouettes in the photo and added three black banners with a black rolled rose, black buttons and black leaves.  I sponged Midnight Muse and Melon Mambo onto my card, but looking at it now the colours aren’t as vibrant as the inspiration photo.

Anyway, here’s my card:

Just Add Ink #110

Hey Everyone

This is the sketch we were given this week at Just Add Ink:

The sketch threw me a bit at first, I have to admit.  I decided to whip out a canvas I painted about a year ago and had put aside as I didn’t know how to finish it.  I played around with some crafting stuff that I brought at Paperific from about 2 years ago and this is what I came up:

And some close ups:

Head over to Just Add Ink and check out what the other design team members have created. We’d love to see your projects so if you have time, join in!

Thanks for taking a look.

Cheers

Valentine's Card

Hi All
I’m back already.  It got the better of me and I decided to sit down and try and upload a card.  Let hope it works. Fingers crossed!
I’ve had a bit of time over the last couple of weeks to design some cards and I came up with the following.  I thought as Valentine’s Day is coming up soon I would try make a card for the Valentine’s out there.
Hope you like it!
See ya

My first ever blog

Hi All!  Well here it is after debating whether or not I could do this.  I finally decided on a name and am still working on what the site will look like, but at least this is a start.
I had a wonderful inspirational creating day yesterday with my upline Pam, Helen (a fellow demo) and my business manager/mum Judy in Bendigo yesterday.  I feel very pumped up after yesterday and can’t wait to find some time to sit down and make some cards.
Well that’s it from me for now – am just about to sit down and watch the tennis.
See ya
