Freshly Made Sketches #625

Hey Everyone

We have a new sketch to play along with at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch has been designed by my fab friend Jen Brum. She is a gorgeous chick who loves to walk more than I do….way more.

I threw this card together as we have been beachside packing up our beach house for the next couple of years. Rent money will hopefully help me retire early so I can craft all day!

I had these flowers sitting on my desk already coloured. These flowers and leaves are from the Stippled Rose Stamp Set. All I had to do was fussy cut them out and add them to my layers. I added a strip of embossed Pretty Peacock Cardstock on to an ink flicked Basic White Cardstock background.

I also had a strip of Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP laying around (because my desk is ultra-messy) so this was added to my card.

As I created this card with a wedding in mind, I added a Silver & White Ribbon bow as I felt this added an extra elegant-ness to it.

The team have created awesome cards for this challenge. Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and see their creations.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle

  1. Wish I had something that lovely just sitting on my craft desk! Pretty card!

  2. This is just so gorgeous! I’m not sure what your desk looks like but I’d love to come and check out all your previously coloured flowers! Those flowers are so beautiful and I love the mix of colours you’ve chosen. When I come and visit we will take nice, long walks…up hills and everything!!!
