Freshly Made Sketches #495

Hey Everyone

We have a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches my crafty friends. The super talented and amazingly creative Amy O’Neill has designed this awesome sketch.

I saw this sketch and in one second decided I wanted to use the Dressed To Impress Stamp Set. These super cool images are perfect to layer and I think kind of match the sketch. I’ve coloured the images with Highland Heather Blends. I also took my Colour Lifter and really diluted the ink. The flowers have been given colour with my Bermuda Bay Blends. I also lifted a lot of the colour of them to give them a washed look.

The background of my card was shaded with Pool Party Ink and a Blending Brush. If you don’t have these brushes yet, you need them. They are so easy to use and give amazing coverage. I then took the Dark Smoky Slate Blend and put the nib in the edge of the lid and flicked the ink on my card.

For a little more embellishment, I added some Crinkled Whisper White Ribbon and some Silver Metallic Pearls.

Here’s my card:

Make sure you pop over to the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and see what my super creative friends have created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Narelle

  1. These images work beautifully with the sketch! And I love the diagonal strip of texture — a fun way to use the sketch! Such a pretty card, Narelle!
