Just Add Ink #691

Hey Everyone

It’s Friday here in Australia, so that means a new challenge at Just Add Ink. This week our challenge is

Stampin’ Up! DSPs are not only for using in the background, they also have pretty images ready to be fussy cut and placed on your projects.

The bird images I’ve fussy cut are from the Flight and Airy DSP. I inked up some leaves from the Gorgeously Made Stamp Set and cut them out. I then took the script background stamp and stamped it randomly in the background. Over this, I took a blending brush and Balmy Blue Ink and shaded over the stamped area.

Because I had a die cut leaf from the Gorgeously Made Dies, I added this also. Nothing like having a full background to my card.

The team at Just Add Ink have created awesome projects, so make sure you head over to the challenge and see what they’ve created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Freshly Made Sketches #623

Hey Everyone

This weeks sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches has been designed by Linda Callahan. Linda designs great sketches and amazing cards.

I’ve taken Linda’s sketch and flipped it for my card as I like my little fussy cut birds (from the Flight and Airy DSP) perched at the top of my card.

The team have created wonderful projects using this weeks sketch. So make sure you head over to Freshly Made Sketches and see what they’ve created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Freshly Made Sketches #615

Hey Everyone

It’s new sketch challenge time over at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch hostess is Karren Johnson. As soon as I saw Karren’s awesome sketch, I knew what I wanted to create. Don’t you love it when a sketch inspires you like that?

One of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper is the already coloured and ready to be fussy cut out are the images on their papers.

These little birds have been fussy cut from the Flight and Airy Designer Series Paper pack. This pack is going to be available for free from the 2024 Sale-A-Bration Catalogue when you spend AU$90 or more. The other side of the papers have been used for the strip and circle that i have added to my card.

The background cardstock has been shaded with Balmy Blue Ink and the ink was flicked with the Dark Night of Navy Blend. By flicking ink, i think it softens the background.

I added a sentiment, some tiny pink pearls from the Blooming Pearl pack and adhered everything down.

The team have created awesome cards using this sketch. Make sure you head over to Freshly Made Sketches and see what they’ve created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers
